The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance would like to thank the many businesses, organizations and volunteers that helped with the annual Holiday Lighting. This is a very large, collaborative event that only works because so many people contribute time and resources to make this a great event for our community: Ark Enterprises - 2012 GFDGA ornament. Barb Schultz, Fort Dodge Public Library - Christmas and holiday stories. Becker Florists - Materials for outdoor ornaments and for the great wagon rides. Brian Becker - Wagon ride driver. Bloomers - Hot chocolate. Buckroyd Studio - Artwork for GFDGA 2012 Christmas ornament and cards. Candies and More - Providing Santa and Mrs. Claus and for additional expert help. Cindy Mulroney - Volunteer. Committee members: Dee and Bob Clapp, Susan and Jim Gill, Nancy Nevins, Ryan Maehl, Terry Cook, Jeff Becker. Dave Brown Photography - Provided photos of children with Santa. Dee and Bob Clapp - Many volunteer hours planning and designing the ornament and card. Downtown merchants - Decorating their windows. FDSH cheerleaders - Helping with wagon rides and children's activities and for braving the weather while helping with the wagon rides. FDSH Choir - Beautiful music. Fort Dodge Fire Department - Delivering Santa and Mrs. Claus. Fareway - Baking hundreds of cookies for the event. Frontier Communications - Provided employees who installed thousands of lights on the tree and providing hundreds of Fareway cookies.. Harmony Brigades - Beautiful music. Hawkeye Cleaning - Cleaned and polished the Wahkonsa after Holiday Lighting. Laura Crowl - very special Mrs. Claus. Mary Beth Frischmeyer and Lisa Reisner - Wonderful mothers who helped with the wagon rides. Mayor Matt Bemrich -Lighting the tree. Mike Mulroney - Wagon driver. Messenger - Great publicity for the event. Noon Lions Club - Helped planning the event, serving and cleanup. STARS Program - Served hot chocolate and cookies. SSMID - Financial supporter of the event. St. Edmond cheerleaders - Helping with wagon rides and children's activities and for braving the weather. St. Edmond Choir - Beautiful music Steve Matke - The wonderful city of Fort Dodge employee who provides professional advice and service to ensure lights work and that the tree stays lighted all season. Sue's Draperies -Costumes Three Eagles Communications - Publicity and music for the event and for Bobby Knight for being a great MC the evening of the event. The Wahkonsa Apartments - Allowing our activities to be held in its beautiful building. Webster County Conservation - Wagon for wagon rides.
