Ag Relations:  Agriculture related topics discussed each month on the 1st Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – Perkins, Speakers/presentations; Ag Show, Webster County Fair.

Annual Dinner/Reception:  Annual update for members; Catalyst Award, Small Business and Rookie of the Year awards are presented.  There is also a featured speaker for this event.

Career Fair:  Fort Dodge High School for all area high school students.  This event is held in the winter.

Christmas Tree Lighting:  The Monday evening after Thanksgiving at 4pm, annual lighting in historic downtown Fort Dodge.

Eggs & Issues:  Meet local legislators, last Saturday of each month Iowa’s Legislature is in session, 8:30 am Iowa Central BioScience Bldg.  Learn what is happening legislatively within Iowa’s State government

Employers Network Task Force:  Employers Network hosts various speakers, seminars, etc. for Human Resources educational purposes and also for general business education. Seminars are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of alternating months.  This alternates with “Network at Noon”. 

Entrepreneur Expo:  The Growth Alliance is a sponsor and supporter of the Entrepreneur Expo which exposes opportunities for the growth of small business owners. 

Golf Outing:  This event is held on the first Thursday in August at the Fort Dodge Country Club.  It is one of the largest networking events in the region.

Good Morning/Good Evening Fort Dodge:   Quarterly breakfast meeting with   speakers and information. Current topics are the focus of these events.

Market on Central:  A 2nd and 4th Saturdays in June, July, August and September, 8 am—1pm, Historic Central Avenue.  A downtown outdoor market that features fresh produce, art, music and entertainment.

Network at Noon:  Speakers, lunch and presentations, 3rd Thursday of the month. A great way to learn something new from the speaker, meet other members, talk about your business and network.

Ribbon Cuttings:  Ambassadors attend Ribbon Cuttings, act as the “Goodwill” extension of the GFDGA.

Volunteer Recognition Task Force:  A committee meets to go over awards for Business of the Year, Rookie of the year and the Catalyst Award.

Young Professionals:  Meets monthly at various locations; created to provide a network to engage and retain young professionals.  The Young Professionals host various social and philanthropic events, as well as provide help with Growth Alliance activities.
