(U.S. Department of Education) Fort Dodge Senior High has a graduation rate of 90.5% with 80% attending post-secondary education and St. Edmonds has a 100% graduation rate with 99% attending post-secondary education. (2011-2012 graduation year) While raising a family in Fort Dodge, you can be rest assured that your children are receiving a superior education. Fort Dodge Community School district has over 3,600 students enrolled with a new middle school expected to be completed Fall 2013. Through the 30 college credit courses being offered by Iowa Central Community College, on average Fort Dodge students graduate with a semester of college. Over 80% students go on to post-secondary educational opportunities. Alternatively, Fort Dodge offers private education through the St. Edmond, St. Paul Lutheran, Harvest Baptist and Community Christian.
