Description

Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska that produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba, that produces anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminal assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.

Koch Nitrogen chemical plant located in Fort Dodge, Iowa has an opening for a Reliability Leader who will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of Preventive and Predictive maintenance programs that are focused on long term excellence in plant safety.   This includes maximizing equipment reliability/productivity and utilizing process tools and knowledge systems capability to set and achieve performance standards.  

Additional responsibilities include:

• Executing plant turnarounds that cost effectively support the goals of the facility
• Member of the plant’s leadership team; Assist in the development of safety, environmental and availability goals and executing plans necessary to meet these goals
• Management of the maintenance employees (includes direct reports, indirect reports and contractors)
• Maintaining equipment supporting the plant’s safety, compliance and availability requirements
• Accountable for the facility’s mechanical integrity program, which must meet or exceed OSHA 1910.119 PSM requirements, and be in alignment with the overall KNC PSM program 

Required

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing plant environment and capable of following all plant policies and procedures as related to the position
• Available for weekend work and travel, including air travel, as required
• Maintenance and reliability management experience at a chemical process plant, petro-chemical plant, or refinery
• Strong commitment to Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Plant Reliability
• Proven leadership skills, organizational skills, high work standards, strong technical abilities, strong business skills and personal accountability
• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.

Preferred

• Management experience in a PSM covered facility
• Strong technical experience with a focus on centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and turbo machinery
