Responsibilities
Duties may include researching information for various plans and grant applications, data entry, assisting planning staff with grant applications, assisting with website updates, and other projects as needed. Experience with Microsoft Office software is required, familiarity with Adobe, Publisher and websites is a plus. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. MIDAS offers remote working options after a probationary period, at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
Qualifications
MIDAS Council of Governments, a six-county regional planning agency in northwest Iowa, is hiring a planning intern. The work schedule for the position is flexible, with 20-40 hours per week anticipated. The length of the internship will be at least 6 months but can be extended if both parties agree.
