Responsibilities

-Maintenance, and preventive maintenance, on a variety of instruments including but not limited to various flow types: D/P, mass, volumetric, various level types: pressure, temperature both RTD and TC and vibration as well as variable frequency drives, electric motors, motor control centers and mechanical relay services -Adjustments, repairs and installation of new services on: electrical, electronic, mechanical, Pneumatic systems, and systems used in indication, and record process condition -Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical/instrumentational defects before equipment fails. -Verification and validation of Yokogawa Control Systems; Safety Instrument Systems (SIS), - Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). -Manage daily maintenance work-flow activities utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Valve link and Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI). -Experiment with new technologies, systems/solutions, and workflows to challenge the status- quo, expand the knowledge of fleet and team, and provide optionality to the process. Improve, develop, and implement maintenance process improvements and efficiencies. -Improve and maintain wireless indication instruments, infrastructure, workflows & processes. -Anticipated travel up to 10% for trainings, collaboration, and support of other sites.

Qualifications

Requirements: -Experience interpreting electrical drawings and Process Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's) -Experience calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and installing instrumentation or electrical equipment Physical Requirements: -Serve as a member of the emergency response team as an emergency responder -Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, ACR Flash suits, and encapsulated suits. PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task -Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs -Work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions -Work in confined spaces with supplied breathing air and congested areas -Climb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, ladders associated with scaffolds in excess of 160 feet What Will Put You Ahead -Instrumentation experience in an industrial and/or chemical environment or military equivalent experience -Experience supporting pre-startup check of new equipment including Quality Assurance checks -Experience and application of safe work practices – Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO); Job Safety Analysis (JSA) -Experience with 4160 Volt -AAS degree in one of the following or related fields: -Electromechanical Technology -Instrumentation Technology or Controls -Electrical Power and Controls -Mechatronics Technology
