KG Roofing of Fort Dodge is seeking highly motivated, skilled candidates to join our team! Responsibilities include the overall project management of commercial roofing projects. Oversight of some residential roofing projects may be required as well. Skills required are the use of hand tools, understanding basic math, ability to climb ladders, and work from heights. Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, and the ability to learn the roofing installation specifications. Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail is required. Flexibility is a must as plans change and travel can be expected at the drop of a hat. The right candidate for the team shall have a positive attitude, be safety conscious, work efficiently, and have the ability to learn and progress during employment. Excellent attendance is a must. Driver's license is required with a clean driving record. Day shift position. Job Type: Full-time, Overtime, Travel This is a training position that will begin with working on job sites to learn the trade hands on while working toward the goal of becoming a Project Manager. Training time varies up to two years and is based on skill and knowledge. Travel is required. Travel expenses and per diem are included. Pay and terms of employment are negotiable once training is complete and the ability to independently manage large subcontractor crews on major projects is attained.
