Qualifications

- Ability to participate in a high performance team-based environment that is fast-learning and adaptive; - Ability to communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including utilizing problem solving skills; - Willing to cross-train into other areas; ensure conformance to standard work by following the process; communicate any issues to the appropriate resources in a timely manner; - Work in a safe manner; - Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and the ability to learn new software applications - Critical thinking, multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills; - Attention to detail; - Analytical ability; - Knowledge of general chemistry or science is preferred - This position works rotating 12 hour shifts, which includes days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. - This position works in a manufacturing environment - Exposure to high noise levels, vibrations, varying atmospheric conditions and temperatures, Hazardous Chemicals, High Pressure Steam; - Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 60% of shift; - Ability to walk about inside the building to access sample collection areas; - Ability to ascend/descend an extensive amount of stairs frequently; - Ability to position self to collect samples from collecting locations several times throughout shift; - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds;
