As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members and plan and schedule the daily work activities for the team. Additionally, you will utilize the equipment and material at hand to meet predetermined quality and safety standards. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will maintain an efficient operation with the established standards for cost, quality, labor, material, and safety. You will also schedule special projects and emergency repairs for all department in need of maintenance support. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coach, train and provide technical guidance to team members within and outside of the department Assign daily work tasks to team members and monitor task accomplishment Leads resolution of personnel, mechanical and electrical operational and resource-related issues that arise during shift so that individual and team productivity are not affected Ensure safety, corrective and preventative maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner Utilize root cause failure analysis to resolve issues Prepare data needed to support the NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) process, TPM (Total Performance Management) process, meetings, and activities Lead team on Nestle Purina Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines and promote a safe work environment Perform all other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Minimum): Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience: 1 year experience in plant/manufacturing environment required. High level of computer literacy required. Minimum 1 year supervisory or other related leadership experience. Preferred: 2+ year degree in electrical maintenance or electrical engineering-related field
