The heart of Iowa is its people—which is why continued job creation is important to the state and our region. The New Jobs Tax Credit is an incentive for businesses who not only expands new jobs by ten percent, but also, enter into a New Jobs Training Agreement.

This one-time tax credit has several criteria, such as wages paid in the first year of business. Any unused tax credit can be carried over for a maximum of ten years while job training programs grow and develop.
