The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance (GFDGA) is committed to supporting professional development, new community leaders and opportunities for growth and expansion of individuals, the workforce and the community.
The GFDGA Leadership Program, now in its eighth year, has a proven track record of offering participants the opportunity to learn about our community through professional presentations, tours of businesses and agencies, and interaction with local and state leaders.
Its mission is to develop leaders who are informed, dynamic, qualified, and motivated. Leadership Fort Dodge is a broad-based, interactive experience that seeks to shape future leaders by providing them with the background information and tools to become a positive force in our community.
An active and vibrant Young Professionals (YP) group is organized to improve the quality of life and economic development of Fort Dodge and the region through the retention and recruitment of young professionals in the greater Fort Dodge area.
The GFDGA hosts numerous seminars and workshops throughout the year that are designed to promote professional development. These educational opportunities are provided at very reasonable cost to the participants.
