What’s the best part of your work?

The best part of my job is the team that we have in place at GWB.  There is no better feeling than to enjoy what you do and the people that you work with on a daily basis.

What’s the best advice you ever received?

Be mindful of the balancing act of work and family- it is not always easy to do.

What’s the best part of living in the Fort Dodge area?

Fort Dodge is a positive place that continues to grow and develop.  I have lived several different places and my wife and I chose to come home to Fort Dodge to work as professionals in the community and raise our two children.  We enjoy the small town feel and big city opportunities that Fort Dodge offers.

What’s your advice to other young professionals?

Involvement is key.  Become an active and visible member of the community- not simply a resident.

Who are your heroes?

My hero is my wife Jenny.  She inspires me to be a better person every day.

What’s on your bucket list?

The next item on my bucket list is to travel over the pond to the British Open Golf Tournament in the next couple of years.

What would you like to share about your family and/or hobbies?

My wife Jenny is an art instructor for Iowa Central Community College.  We have 2 children. Sophia is 9 years old and is a 4th grader at St Edmond.  Hudson is 5 years old and is in the TK program at St Edmond.  Hobbies include golf, and spending time with family and friends.
