Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance
The candidate must be working toward a business degree, preferably in marketing, communications, public relations, etc. Person must be a self starter, can work independently and in a team environment. High level of attention to detail is a must. Most importantly, the person must be able to work in a confidential environment.
The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance is a newly created organization responsible for the economic and community development for the greater Fort Dodge region and Webster County. The role of Growth Alliance is to create, attract, retain, expand and sustain community and economic development through empowered leadership, facilitation, coordination, partnerships, advice and finance. The Growth Alliance serves as a catalyst, a driver and a change leader for community and economic development growth. As a catalyst, the Growth Alliance will serve as the leader, a co-leader, supporter or partner with other organizations focusing on community and economic development.
• Assist with creating a targeted marketing list for new industrial, retail and housing development.
• Assist with the management of the Growth Alliance’s Internship+ program.
• Support the primary sector retention program. Assist staff with the interviewing process by recording results of interviews, creating reports, etc.
• Other Customer Relationship Management duties as assigned.
