Qualifications:
Requirements: - Bilingual: English/Spanish - verbal and written (required). - Human Resources Management or related degree or equivalent work experience. - 1-year food production experience (preferred). - Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., walk/stand regularly, and sit at a desk for extended periods. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Individual must be motivated, dependable, organized, and able to work as a member of a larger team. - Excellent computer skills, Excel, and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. - Knowledge of employment law, best practices, compensation, safety, training, and preventive labor relations (preferred). - Ability to ensure and maintain confidentiality. - Flexibility in hours as required.

Responsibilities:
QPS is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to work at a family owned company in Webster City, IA. This company has been producing and distributing high-quality, high-value branded meats for over 40 years! They are needing an organized and motivated team player to assist with daily human resource duties as well as written and oral Spanish translation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Manage the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. - Set and perform interviews with Spanish speaking candidates and give feedback to HR Manager. - Ensure all new employee paperwork was completed and processed, including I-9 eligibility forms. - Orient new employees to all company policies, procedures, job expectations, and department goals. - Translate materials and training into Spanish as well as translating for Spanish-speaking employees where needed. - Maintain information in HRIS system (Paylocity). - Perform other related duties as required.
