Home Base Iowa
The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance supports the Home Base Iowa program. which is a statewide program designed to assist veterans coming back from duty, and transitioning back into civilian life.
Webster County offers a wide variety of employment opportunities, particularly in the areas of manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, biosciences, construction, and transportation. We work with a number of employers and trade organizations who are committed to hiring veterans, often for positions that have not been posted to the public.
In addition to job assistance, Greater Fort Dodge has a variety of benefits for veterans who choose to relocate to our community. These include vouchers for dining and lodging, educational benefits, housing tax breaks, and other perks.
Apply here to receive these benefits. You may download and print the application form, and then email it to Kelly Halsted at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or, if you prefer, you can submit your application online, in order to do this, you will need to download the form using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. The submit function does not work in Google Chrome. For more information on benefits please contact Kelly.
