Laborshed Project
Residential Telephone Survey

The Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance is continuing to work with Iowa Workforce Development to complete a Laborshed employment study in our area. The study is currently in its second phase, the household telephone survey.

This confidential telephone survey is currently being conducted in Webster County. The survey call originates out of Cedar Rapids, IA, therefore, the incoming number will have a 319 area code. If you miss the call, a toll-free number will be left in a message to you. If you would like to participate in the study, please feel free to do so by calling 888-364-1891. Your input in this survey will benefit economic development efforts in our area.

Questions in the survey will cover topics such as: employment status, current and desired wages, current and desired benefits, education level and type of occupation. Iowa Workforce Development will not be asking survey takers any identifiable information such as: name, social security number, or date of birth.  Survey calls will continue into Webster County and the surrounding areas until necessary survey levels are met.

The results for each county and regional Laborshed analysis can be found at www.iowaworkforcedevelopment.gov/laborshed-studies.  If you have any questions about the Laborshed employment study project, please contact Katie Lippold, with Iowa Workforce Development at 515-281-3035 or Kelly Halsted, Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance, T 515-955-5500.

Your participation in the survey is vital to the success of this study. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
