Job Training Programs Print E-mail

The Iowa New Jobs Training Program (also known as the 260E Program) – Your project can utilize Iowa’s innovative program that allows for companies to be reimbursed for up to 50% of new employee’ wages and benefits during the training period at no cost to the company. Other uses of the job training funds may include but is not limited to training materials, equipment, skill assessment, travel expenses, contractor or professional services, etc.  This training program is funded by diverting 1.5% or 3.0% of a new employee’s payroll for up to 10 years.  This is money that would otherwise be withheld for the employee’s State of Iowa personal income taxes.  The program is administered through Iowa Central Community College.
