University of Northern Iowa (Cedar Falls, Iowa) is a quality, state-supported university of approximately 13,000 students, located on the west side of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo metro area in northeast Iowa. UNI is ranked second in the "Best Regional Universities (Midwest)" category for public universities, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2013 "America's Best Colleges" guidebook.
